About Us
Linda
Linda has been in the early childhood education field since 2005 and has experience teaching, directing and owning preschools, after school care and learning centers.
She runs an innovative preschool out of her home and has always taken pride in her out-of-the-box curriculum. She has big plans to open a Preschool Center in the future.
She has always loved children! She comes from a large family and has 2 grown children of her own.
She also has a non-profit where she helps the poor locally and globally and dreams of putting a percentage of the tuition she receives when opening a center toward her non-profit to open schools for abandoned children in third world countries.
She has always been passionate about hands on education and is looking forward to spending an incredible summer exploring the bay!
Linh
One of Linh Cavanas’s greatest joy, aside from her family, is being a teacher. She has taught children from Pre-K through First Grade throughout her career and loves working with young children because of all the exploring, learning and fun they get to have.
She holds a master's degree in Education, and teaching is her passion. Her philosophy is making learning relatable and full of exploration. Students learn best when they are experimenting, building and having fun. As a teacher, her goal is to provide them with a learning environment that helps students connect real life experiences to concepts learned. By doing this she provides an engaging, interactive environment that promotes social group activities, and individualized activities to spark their curiosity and interests.
Aside from teaching, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
She looks forward to meeting all of you this summer!
